About Me

At age 7, having been heavily influenced by her favorite writers Shel Silverstein, Robert Lopshire, and Theodor Geisel, Mandy began exploring and developing her own rhyming and rhythmic style of writing. In her teenage years, her style matured, and she won multiple awards and writing competitions based on her lyric, often humorous verse. College graduation brought a new opportunity her way, and Mandy found herself on a 25-year career path in sales and advertising. While exploring Corporate America and, eventually, parenthood, she continued to write privately, paving the “write path” for herself, brick by brick. With her two boys providing endless inspiration and material, also known as her muses that amuse and confuse her, she has written a multitude of pieces for children.
